American Pastor Convicted In Iran

After a short sham trial, Iran has convicted American Pastor Saeed Abedini – a U.S. citizen – and sentenced him to eight years in one of Iran's most brutal and deadly prisons – merely because he is a Christian.

Iran has violated Pastor Saeed's human rights, violated its own constitution, and violated multiple international treaties and covenants that it voluntarily and willingly signed.

At the ACLJ, we are mobilizing a domestic and international effort to pressure Iran to abide by its treaties and agreements. We are calling on the United Nations and the Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights to directly intervene and demand Pastor Saeed's release.

An America Built To Last In President Obama's Words

President Obama is working to build a country and an economy where we reward hard work, value fairness, and where everyone is held accountable for what they do. He is meeting the challenges we face as a nation with a bold, comprehensive plan. And he is reimagining government to be more open, transparent, and accountable.

If this is true why is our economy in horrible shape, our deficit is incredible and our freedoms are being slowly taken away. I think this means President Obama is full of something.

I Won't Be Watching President Obama's Inaugural Speech

Four years was enough for me with President Obama. I won't be paying attention to his Inaugural speech in 2013. I know President Obama won't be saying anything important to me during his speech. I did not vote for the President. I do not support him and his agendas. I respect the office of the President of The United States, but I have no respect for our President.

I don't agree with his attack on gun owners-He needs to worry more about criminals, mental health and school security.

Obamacare will destroy our healthcare. Government control on anything, costs more money for a lesser product.

I don't like President Obama's stand on gay marriage

I disagree with President Obama paying too much golf and spending too much time on vacation when the rest of the country is suffering and our deficit is very high. It shows he does not care about the deficit or the people.

I don't like President Obama saying he is a Christian, putting down Christian's and bowing to Muslim dignitaries. The way he treats the Israeli leader is horrible

I have no idea why President Obama was voted in for a second term. I wonder if our country is dumb, more liberal than I thought or some funny business happened during the election. All the people I know were disappointment in the job President Obama did and he still wins.I could go on for hours, but I am telling you some of the reasons I will no longer listen to any of President Obama's speeches, it is a complete waste of my time.

SECOND CONGRESSMAN SUGGESTS IMPEACHMENT

CONGRESSMAN WARNS OBAMA: IMPEACH YOU

(Daily Caller) – Texas Republican Rep. Steve Stockman threatened Monday afternoon that he would file articles of impeachment against President Barack Obama if he institutes gun control measures with an executive order.

Stockman warned that such executive orders would be “unconstitutional” and “infringe on our constitutionally-protected right to keep and bear arms.”

“I will seek to thwart this action by any means necessary, including but not limited to eliminating funding for implementation, defunding the White House, and even filing articles of impeachment,” Stockman said in a statement.

At his press conference Monday, Obama floated the possibility of using executive action to enact policies aimed at reducing gun violence.

The freshman congressman, who served one term in Congress in the mid-1990s, further labeled the possibility “an existential threat to this nation” because, he said, the purpose of the Second Amendment is to allow the people to protect themselves from tyranny. “Any proposal to abuse executive power and infringe upon gun rights must be repelled with the stiffest legislative force possible,” he added. “Under no circumstances whatsoever may the government take any action that disarms any peaceable person — much less without due process through an executive declaration without a vote of Congress or a ruling of a court.”

He concluded by claiming that an executive order would be not just “not just an attack on the Constitution,” but also an “attack on Americans.”

“If the president is allowed to suspend constitutional rights on his own personal whims, our free republic has effectively ceased to exist,” he said.

OBAMA TO ANNOUNCE GUN BAN… SURROUNDED BY CHILDREN

Mr. Obama, unveiling his gun proposals Wednesday barely a month after the deadly school shooting in Newtown, Conn., will make it clear that his health law, known as the Affordable Care Act, allows doctors to ask patients whether they have guns in their homes, and will tell them they are able to report any threats of violence they hear to police.

I would love to know how this will take the guns and ammunition away from the criminals who are killing innocent people. Seems to me, the President is just trying to take guns away form law abiding citizens. It doesn't take a genius to see the President is trying to take weapons away from normal people, so they can no longer protect themselves from criminals and their own government.

Bank of America ‘freezes gun maker’s account’

‘We believe you should not be selling guns and parts on the Internet’

(CNS News) – Bank of America has reportedly frozen the account of gun manufacturer American Spirit Arms, according to its owner, Joe Sirochman.

In a Facebook post dated December 29, Sirochman wrote the following:

SPECIAL: “Do NOT let the government take our guns!’ Protect Your Gun Rights!

“My name is Joe Sirochman owner of American Spirit Arms…our Web site orders have jumped 500 percent causing our Web site e-commerce processing larger deposits to Bank of America. So they decided to hold the deposits for further review.

“After countless hours on the phone with Bank of America, I finally got a manager in the right department that told me the reason that the deposits were on hold for further review — her exact words were — ‘We believe you should not be selling guns and parts on the Internet.’”(emphasis added)

Sirochman also wrote that he told the bank manager that “they have no right to make up their own new rules and regs” and that “[American Spirit is a] firearms manufacturer with all the proper licensing.”

He also noted that he has been doing business with Bank of America for over 10 years, but will now be looking for a new bank.

According to Unlawful News, this isn’t the first time Bank of America has targeted a customer involved in the firearms industry.

McMillan Group International was reportedly told that its business was no longer welcome after the company started manufacturing firearms – even after 12 years of doing business with the bank.
